My Chemical Romance picked up the Best International Band supported by T4 award at the Shockwaves NME Awards ceremony tonight (February 23).

The band opened the London O2 Academy Brixton event earlier by playing 'Vampire Money' and 'Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)' live. They beat fellow nominees Arcade Fire, Kings Of Leon, The Drums and Vampire Weekend to win the honour.

The award was handed to them by T4 presenters Jameela Jamil and Georgie Okell and was their second of the night. Earlier they won the Best Video award for the promo for 'Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)'.
